Art Education at the Red Rock Center
We are excited to announce a major expansion of our art education programs, made possible by a $3,000 grant from the Odell Community Fund. Youth Art Classes (Odell-funded) A new series of after-school and weekend classes for young artists, led by skilled instructors. Materials are included for most classes, and scholarships are available for class fees. Children ages 6 and under must be accompanied by a caregiver. Adult Art Classes (Odell-funded) Evening and weekend studio classes for adults, including painting, drawing, and more, taught by working artists. All experience levels are welcome. “Brushes & Brunch” Family Workshops Bring the whole family for a morning of art-making and brunch. These relaxed, hands-on workshops are perfect for all ages. Children ages 6 and under must be accompanied by a caregiver. Light refreshments are provided. Follow us on Facebook for the most up-to-date schedule. Scholarships The Red Rock Center for the Arts, together with community partners, has established a scholarship fund for those who cannot afford to pay for classes. Our goal is to make art classes available to everyone, regardless of financial situation. Scholarships are available for class fees only and do not cover materials or art kits. Does your family have a financial hardship that prevents you from attending a class? Contact us to request funding. |
